At DUP's core are founders and a creative team who bring successful
entrepreneurial experience and expertise in motion picture production.
The team is complemented by a support group of consultants and advisers
in the industry.
Management and Organization
The primary strength of any company is in its management team. DUP's
principals are driven individuals who have extensive experience in business,
marketing and the entertainment industry. In addition, DUP has relationships
with key consultants and advisers who will be available to fill important
roles on an as-needed basis. The following individuals make up the current
management and creative team:

Jay Tormohlen, Ceo
Writer, Director, Producer and Marketing Development
Jay has completed over a dozen screenplays, as well as books and short
stories while making a living writing articles for national magazines,
marketing materials, and web site content. He has lived around the globe
much of his life, including working with BBC as a Peace Corps volunteer
establishing and producing daily educational programming in the Indian
Ocean area, for which he received recognition from international organizations
and a federal agency for his work. He has studied under Cynthia Whitcomb
(former teacher at UCLA and writer of over 20 produced movies, and David
Ciminello, Sundance Winner and writer for Seinfeld). He also has been
a finalist in Nichol Fellowship, American Accolades, Page International
Awards, Scriptapalooza, Expo 5 Screenplay Competition and Red Inkworks
screenwriting competitions.
His experience since 1972 also covers graphic design and illustration;
web design; management and sales training; and photography for major national
and international corporations, for which he's won national, state and
city awards and contests. He has founded, operated and sold several successful
companies, in the U.S. and abroad, including a building contracting business,
a wholesale tour company marketing trips to tropical islands, a recreational
billiard parlor, an advertising agency, and a graphic & web design
company. His clients have included national and international corporations;
such as British Airways, Monsanto, Nissan Corporation, Oxis International,
DEX Media and Verizon; as well as federal and state government agencies;
and national associations.
Joe Hill, President
Cinematographer and Editor
Joe graduated from Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota with a B.S
degree in Television Production and a minor in Film Studies. Over the
past eight years he has worked as a producer, director, cinematographer
and editor on a variety of different projects including industrial videos,
music videos, wedding videos, and several short films, most notably, The
Blue Solution, which was featured at the 2001 Angelciti Film Festival
in Hollywood. He has also been working at a local TV station for the past
four years, where he has shot and directed local government programming
and local events.
His current projects include production of his tenth short film, Prose
Rhythmically, which he is producing, filming and editing. He has produced
films for Adidas and Glacier Northwest as well.
